I absolutely love, love, love the critter cooler!!!!! It has saved me so much time from refilling all the outside water bowls for the outdoor dogs in the big area. I filled it 3/4 full that first day about a week ago and just had to refill it last night for the first time. It lasted a whole week! It keeps their water clean and full at all times. I took pictures of the before and after, empty and dirty bowls, and the after, one clean place to drink that always has water. Once I upload them I will send them along. The height is fine for my dogs too, they are from 9 inches tall at the shoulder to 12 inches tall and they all could reach it just fine. Have not needed to put the Ant Bath stuff into the Ant Blockers yet. I want to order another one for the back porch as this one is working so well.. I am so very pleased with the critter cooler. I will eventually order a third for the second run area out back also, and I have five kennel runs that I have been using water buckets for and refilling twice a day. This is Elisa Becker. my mom bought the Critter Cooler for my dog the day we were at the Calamigos Ranch for Dog Days. it works beautifully. i keep it in my office and Julia drinks water from it everyday. It keeps the water cold, even when it is hot in the office (I don't have air conditioning). She has not eaten or even chewd on it.

My husband just about had a heart attack when he saw what I bought, but it wasn't long before he saw the advantage of such a great device. Less the teething puppy issues, the product is fantastic and has even held up to our 80lb Rotty puppy, which is amazing in itself. I like the convenience of not constantly filling the water bowls and knowing their water isn't boiling outside in this heat. We have the chiller cover and it works great. We have tried several other "dog watering" systems and NONE compare to how simple and easy as the Critter Cooler. I love the fact that the water bowls are off the ground... this keeps the watering area clean and mold free. No more gross stuff under the water bowl. My dogs love using it as this is easier for them to drink from since the bowls are at "there level" and not on the ground. The dog I adopted has an incredibly thick coat, and despite the cooler weather in Oregon, he consumes a great deal of water to compensate. The few short days I was awaiting my Critter Cooler, I found myself filling his water dish constantly as he ran out of water or the water became too hot. Upon receiving the Critter Cooler my life became much easier! I now fill the cooler approximately once a week and Mowgli has fresh water at a much cooler temperature anytime he desires. In addition, I use the two feeding trays either attached or on their own with great success. I initially started out with the cooler in the house and have now moved it to the outside for the warm summer months. Having the cooler on wheels makes it especially easy to move to different locations and/or to refill. In addition to Mowgli, our cat, Iverson, couldn't be happier with this product. It really brought the two of them together in the beginning stages of getting to know each other. Even though the water bowl is up off the ground, Iverson loves to prop himself up with his front legs and drink to his heart's content. I have found the Critter Cooler incredibly easy to use. Filling the cooler only takes me a short time with the hose and cleaning the trays is just as easy. I simply wipe out the watering trays and the food trays go right in the dishwasher. I rate the Critter Cooler 5 out of 5 stars. In addition to the cooler, we use the Critter Comfort Anti-Itch Shampoo on Mowgli with just as much success. I also purchased the Ant Bath. My wife and I are traveling to Montana and we stopped our motor home at a trailerpark that has wi-fi so I thought that I would check in. The 5 gallon feeding station has worked out quite well. I can empty about a 20lb bag of food in it and Mitzy, Buster and Lucy have enough food for a couple of weeks. I like the fact that your whole contraption is off of the ground, keeping things allot cleaner around here. We put all the bowls in the dishwasher when we get back and they clean up nice. Paula, Seattle My 4 German Shepards go through your 6.5 gallons in about 5 days, which is not bad and a hell of lot better than refilling those pails. I would say that anyone that has 3 or more large breed dogs should get the large size. The thermal cover works well and I would also recommend that for people that keep thier water outdoors-

As you know, I don't have many BIG dogs but I have allot of dogs from the rescue stay at my house. Cleaning up the poop takes an hour and the water bowls about 30 minutes, twice a day. So now I refill the Critter Cooler about 2 times a week-- which save me about 7 hours each week-- and everybody gets better water. Now please invent somthing that cleans up the poop-LOL

I put one on the porch and one in the yard and fill them once a week- very cool. You saw our gang of 4, the 2 labs the St. Bernard and the Shepard (all rescues) My wife is a happy camper too. She had bought a couple of those water fountain systems with the charcoal filter- what a pain- you can't put much water in them, they need electrical, they are loud, they leave charcoal particles in the bowl---still can't figure out how to clean them-- anyway, as I started, these work great!

That took time out of our day. I love the fact that the bowl has a drain plug so we can quickly drain the dirty water and re-fresh it- And I got to tell you those are high quality wheels- we fill it up and roll it about 50 yards where the dogs need it. My husband and I are out by the pool, it is about 95 degrees out--- and our labs are out swimming, which is normal. On hot days, I always put some ice into the Critter Cooler and cover with the thermal cover for Charly and Reeba to have cold water all day. But my husband did that chore today. So my husband gets up off of the lounge chair, walks over to the Critter Cooler, opens it up and pulls out a beer. He said that it was good spot to store the beer to keep it ice cold.
Cold beer for Tom, cold water for Charly and Reeba, I guess that is a win, win.

I saw your review in Dog World as a best buy and thought that this was a great idea if it really worked. I work as a vet tech and thought that I would get one for my babies (4 rescue mutt love bugs) before recommending it to the Doctor. You get 2 thumbs up for this product. At our office we tried to use that dog water "fountain" with the charcoal filter and it worked great for about a week. When that young lady is struggling with that 5 gallon water bottle, that is exactly what happens me, and my back is not that strong anymore. So we decided to get your medium size Critter Cooler (since it was only $10 more than the small) and it has really worked out swell. Our porch is cement with some cracks in it and those wheels roll right over the cracks, no problem. We have a Corgi, a yorkshire terrier and a husky mix. They all love it- and we love filling it up just once every 4-5 days-

The Drain plug in the front bowl makes sense- it allows me to change out the water fast. We spend about 2-4 weeks a year up in our Cabin and our 4 dogs (all big mix breeds) run after rabbits and deer all day. We got one 5.0 gallon at the cabin now and those boys finish it in 2 days. This is MUCH better than refilling bowls and pails 2-3 times a day. We just placed another order for the 6.5 gallon and 2 of those thermal covers.

Randy, Brentwood CA Hello, We saw your article on gundogsonline.com. We run a hunting lodge (Pheasant) so we have many bird dogs around. Your doggie drink has been very handy. We got a 2-5 gallons for the lodge kennel and we got a small one to take out into the field. We just load it into the back of the pick up (take the wheels off) and it works out fine. I don't know much about that but we are a dog friendly environment at my home. The truth is between my wife and my daughter they collect every stray animal that needs a home in the county. I have been blessed with a little property so it is not too much bother, but clean water for the bunch is always a big chore. We purchased one of your products, and what do you know, it actually works. That's good engineering Jim, and the fact that you called us back right away the other day when Sally had a question was good service. I guess that we will invest in a few more of these.

It is easy to put togther and fill. The wheels are very high quality and roll over my pavers and carpet. The bowls are easy to clean and the drain plug in the front bowl lets me rinse out the dirty water and refill with fresh fast--that's about it- My sister wants to get one now- I will talk to you soon, Christina, San Antonio TX We purchased our 3.5 gallon Critter Cooler at the Las Vegas Superzoo and had it shipped back to us in Gainseville. We run a small local boarding kennel and wanted to test out this watering well. The Critter Cooler has exceeded our expectations and we like the durability of it. Other watering systems last about a year, this new one is very difficult to break. (we have had some of our guests try) and are very pleased.
